If you’ve noticed.
Something strange going on it’s because the powers that be at Blogger are forcing people to upgrade to the new blogger and create Google accounts whether they want to or not. My problem is figuring how I can pull all my archives and find another platform to host the blog because I find this absolutely intrusive.
Update - after writing several frantic emails, not an easy thing to do when you keep automatically being redirected to another page which isn’t one where you can email anyone for help, the problem seems to have corrected itself. I can only hope it will not repeat itself.

The worst bit for me is having to always sign in, because I have two different Gmail accounts, one for my personal email and one to store a lot of my ComicMix stuff, and I often do both blogs at the same time so I keep having to constantly switch.
Well, something definitely happened because after writing a bunch of frantic emails the situation corrected itself. I haven't heard anything back from the people at blogger and truthfully if it was just a matter of transferring my current account over to Google I wouldn’t really care but, to have to go through the hassle of setting up an entirely new account just to satisfy some marketing program is less than desirable.
Funny thing was there was a solid two hour period where this crap was happening which took a bit to sort out and which I'll never get back. I'm certain this was the result of someone’s ‘bright’ (insert sarcasm) idea.
